Purposely Designed

There are plenty of things I want to do with my life. If I listed them all it would probably make your mind go tilt.

Oftentimes I feel like I don’t have enough time to accomplish it all – learning 2 more languages, pursuing some out of the box business endeavors, and courageously daring to live a life better than my wildest dreams.

One thing I know for sure is that God put me here for a reason and he did the same for you!

I’m a chat host during our online services. Chat Hosts interact with church members during service and contribute to the overall online experience. There’s someone who manages the slides and there are Prayer Hosts. When people ask for prayer, the Prayer Hosts, who are trained, step in to pray.

A couple of Sunday’s ago there were approximately 300 people at church online. In the midst of everything that was going on, someone @ me and asked me to pray for them. They wanted to know God’s purpose for their life and were seeking to find out through prayer.

Some of us learn God’s purpose for us early on while others learn much later in life and for those in between, it can be difficult to continue to forge ahead without knowing which path to take.

God revealed part of His purpose for me when I was working a job I hated that sent me to the bathroom crying almost everyday at work. I left that job, went back to school and now I’m in a profession where I’m having success.

Then, I started my celibacy journey which has been LONG but God has blessed me so much! That journey led me to write this blog and to minister in a way I never thought I would.

He’s done it for others too. I’ve watched as friends have walked long roads to and through medical and law school only to find out God had another plan.

This time, this waiting, is part of God’s plan to draw you closer to Him so you know exactly what he wants you to know and do.

Seek God’s purpose for your life. Continue on the road He has you on and wait for his voice. When the time is right you’ll know what God wants you to do and I pray you will obey. God will place you on a path that will be better than you could ever ask or think AND one that will give Him glory.

Happy Waiting
