More Than This

I can’t believe this day is finally here! This blog, the one I started while already on my celibacy journey, has blessed me so much! It’s been read by men, women and even inspired a younger woman to continue and stand firm in her journey.

I am glad. God is good. And it’s time to move forward. While celibacy is part of my journey, it’s not the whole journey. 

For the last few months I’ve been anticipating this shift. I finally have a new blog name! Here’s the story behind how this name came to be.

First, I wanted a name that pointed to God.

I wanted something that had meaning and included the words grace or healing or something about encouragement. But whenever I looked word-combinations up to see if the web address was available, they weren’t. All of the names I wanted were taken. 

It’s like people read my mind but in reverse!!!

Then I turned to my name for inspiration but all of the combinations – revelation, manifestation, grace, were also taken. I toyed with so many variations until it finally hit me.

I decided that since my name means all of the things this blog is, that I would change my blog’s name to TiffaniJane.

Here’s what Tiffani means –

Tiffani as a name for girls has its root in Greek, and the meaning of Tiffani is “revelation of God”. Tiffani is an alternate form of Tiffany (Greek): version of the Greek Theophania. – thinkbabynames.com

And then Jane, a name derived from my middle name means –

Jane as a girls’ name is pronounced jayn. It is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Jane is “God is gracious”. – thinkbabynames.com

Over the years, this blog has been written based on everyday revelations I’ve had while on this forever walk with God. It’s only by His grace that I’m able to share what I’ve learned with you and I’m thankful God is moving this platform forward.

I hope you will continue taking this journey with me. I have so much more to share! God’s still working on us during this time . Maybe we can help each other get through?
